Government Data Center and Cloud service

The Government Central Cloud, also known as the Government Data Center and Cloud Service (GDCC), offers Virtual Machine services to government agencies. It also provides many additional services such as AI, IoT, and Open Data for government agencies to further develop work in delivering services to citizens.

About GDCC

Government Data Center and Cloud Service (GDCC) is a project of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society that aims to create a centralized, standardized, and highly secure virtual server service for government agencies that lack data center maintenance and personnel. In this project, government officials will be trained in Cloud computing so that they can comprehend the system's operation and use it safely and effectively. Agencies that want to use cloud services in the federal government can send staff or IT professionals to training courses outlined in the project. Trained individuals can apply their training within their own organization and pass on their expertise to other personnel within their own departments.

GDCC Objectives and Goals

• To respond to the national strategic plan for balancing and expanding the system of public administration.
• To have a centralized system that provides government agencies with Cloud Service while adhering to security standards.
• To enable government agencies to rapidly and comprehensively access computer resources in order to meet the requirements of the transition to digital government (Government Transformation).
• To support the Government Big Data Institute of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society in the use of analytics and Big Data.
• To prepare enough government personnel in terms of digital skills for the government's digital transformation.
• To reduce spending on computing infrastructure.
